CAM Claims Processor III (Mortgage Claims)

What you will do

• Submit and review FHA and conventional claims for accuracy and compliance with investor, insurer, statutory, and regulatory guidelines.
• Process short sale, foreclosure, third-party, charge-off, security, loss mitigation, and deed-in-lieu claims within service-level agreements.
• Review invoices, research loan histories, and validate advances, deposits, refunds, and insurance proceeds.
• Coordinate with Mortgage Insurance, Hazard, Foreclosure, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Evictions, Collections, Property Preservation, and other internal departments.
• Reconcile loans for final loss allocation, loss booking, and refunds to investors or prior servicers.
• Update systems accurately, respond to attorney loan-level requests, and submit completed claims to investors.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years of default experience.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow compliance, operational risk, audit, and internal control standards.

Nice to have

• 5 years of default experience.
• Full processing knowledge of all disposition types.
• Knowledge of M&T Bank systems.
