Associate Portfolio Manager (MBA)

What you will do

• Manage ETFs and other equity portfolios, including issuing global buy and sell instructions, creating and redeeming ETF baskets, trading foreign currency, handling corporate actions, and evaluating security eligibility.
• Monitor ETF characteristics and maintain portfolio structures through a systematic, process-driven approach.
• Identify portfolio changes and partner with global trading teams to implement investment decisions.
• Work with Capital Markets to improve ETF market quality and manage fund flows efficiently.
• Explain fund performance, investment processes, and investment theses to internal stakeholders, existing clients, and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consultant, Client Services, and other departments on client needs and investment-process projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong quantitative problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Comfort working with large datasets, strong attention to detail, and effective time management.
• This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and Excel.
• Aptitude for learning basic programming languages.
