Senior Java Back-End Developer (FinTech)

hirify.global is a global staffing company representing a fintech client that provides alternative business lending, direct financing, and white-label lending products for merchant-facing partners.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Java web applications and microservices for a fintech lending platform.
• Solve complex technical and business problems and connect engineering decisions with domain requirements.
• Own features from development through frequent production deployment.
• Integrate third-party systems through XML and JSON APIs.
• Work with asynchronous, message-based communication and cloud infrastructure.
• Improve engineering practices through automation, TDD, pair programming, and incremental delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing web applications.
• 3+ years of experience with IoC/DI frameworks such as Spring, Quarkus, or Micronaut.
• Hands-on production experience with TDD and pair programming.
• Strong understanding of microservices, relational databases, API security protocols, and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems, cloud infrastructure, Agile development, and third-party API integrations.
• Strong English communication skills and experience working in the US fintech domain.

Nice to have

• Experience with Keycloak, Kafka, AWS, or Kubernetes.
