TL;DR
Java Developer (FinTech): Developing high-load Java microservices and scalable customer engagement platforms for targeted marketing, device financing, contract generation, and customer verification integrations with an accent on microservices architecture, data processing, reliability, and security. Focus on designing DDD-based systems, optimizing PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, and Kafka solutions, and ensuring availability through automated testing and SRE practices.
Location: Hybrid in Baku, Azerbaijan

What you will do
- Develop and maintain high-load Java microservices and backend solutions for digital customer engagement and sales platforms.
- Design and evolve system architecture using Domain-Driven Design and microservices principles.
- Build and optimize data-processing solutions for audience segmentation, communication workflows, installment plans, contract generation, and customer verification integrations.
- Conduct requirements, technical solution, code, and change reviews, including impact analysis and risk assessment.
- Develop automated tests across multiple levels and support software quality and security.
- Improve system availability and reliability in line with SRE principles and contribute to engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Java development experience, including Java 11, 17, or 21.
- Knowledge of data structures, Java collections, and system design principles.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, Kafka, microservices, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Experience reviewing requirements, technical specifications, code, and changes, including impact and risk assessment.
- Understanding of automated testing, information security, cybersecurity best practices, and Spring Security.
- Intermediate+ English required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes and understanding of SRE practices.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience designing systems according to DDD standards.
