Software Developer - CAD API Integration | AU | WFH

Location: WFH; required location: No Preference. Work schedule: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Queensland time / 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Philippine time. City: Ortigas, Pasig City, Philippines.

What you will do

• Map user workflows, clarify requirements, and identify constraints, handoffs, duplicate data, manual checks, and failure points.
• Assess and prioritize automation opportunities based on business value, time savings, risk reduction, feasibility, and maintainability.
• Design, build, and maintain an Autodesk Revit CAD plugin using C#, .NET, the Revit API, and WPF.
• Develop web applications, backend APIs, dashboards, reports, authentication, and integrations using ASP.NET Core and React.
• Build secure and resilient integrations with AWS services, including validation, logging, observability, offline handling, and retries.
• Operate AWS production environments and manage Git-based delivery, testing, CI/CD, installers, auto-updates, versioning, and releases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience delivering and supporting production software from requirements through ongoing support.
• Strong C# and .NET skills, including object-oriented design, clean architecture, asynchronous programming, debugging, and testable code.
• Experience developing CAD plugins or extensions for complex desktop host applications.
• Full-stack web development experience with backend APIs, authentication, reporting, data integration, and modern JavaScript interfaces.
• Practical AWS production experience covering deployment, security, monitoring, backups, and recovery.
• Strong Git-based engineering practices, code review, testing, repeatable builds, installer creation, versioned releases, and automated deployment.

Nice to have

• Autodesk Revit API and cross-version CAD plugin delivery experience.
• Experience with CAD/BIM, MEP, piping, fabrication, engineering automation, computational geometry, Revit solids, connectors, or STEP files.
• Installer engineering with Inno Setup or comparable tooling.
