Site Reliability Internship - Spring 2027 (Azure/Kubernetes)

hirify.global develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing systems, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

• Deploy and manage services in Azure Kubernetes Service clusters using Argo CD.
• Assist with system patching and maintenance for internal services.
• Upgrade and support Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Linux-based tools and scripting.
• Monitor service reliability and automate operational tasks to improve uptime and performance.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Python programming experience and familiarity with Linux environments.
• Understanding of at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Coursework or experience with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, or system security fundamentals.
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology.

Nice to have

• Hands-on cloud deployment experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience from laboratory or personal projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts or Argo CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Previous internship, research, or project experience in DevOps or systems engineering.
