Financial Controller (Digital Marketing)

What you will do

• Own the accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet and P&L for designated business areas.
• Coordinate budgets and re-forecasts, prepare monthly flash results, and maintain finalized reporting versions.
• Review revenue and gross profit, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile client invoicing based on estimates or media budgets.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, operational expenditure recording, adjusting entries, payroll reporting, and local tax submissions.
• Maintain finance controls, support audit sampling, and participate in finance improvement projects.
• Partner with Heads of Department and O2C/P2P teams on financial analysis, reporting, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Experience managing financial reporting for a designated business area or region.
• Ability to prepare budgets, re-forecasts, monthly results, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Knowledge of balance sheet controls, operational expenditure, payroll reporting, tax reporting, and audit support.
• Strong stakeholder communication and business partnering skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve financial queries, and drive continuous improvement.
• Based in Cape Town, South Africa.
