What you will do

• Identify and analyse upcoming volatility events and provide real-time opinions on breaking news.
• Forecast dividends and perform stock valuation analysis.
• Evaluate special situations, including mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate actions.
• Identify investment opportunities in equity and options markets and develop trade ideas.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, traders, and derivative traders within a sector-focused trading desk.
• Travel to company events and conferences as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• 3 years’+ experience in financial markets or progress toward CFA qualification as an advantage.
• Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills.
• Demonstrable interest in and some knowledge of the macroeconomic environment and political events.
• Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to self-start, learn quickly, communicate effectively, and solve problems resourcefully.
• Willingness to work additional and flexible hours when necessary.

Nice to have

• Progress toward CFA qualification.
• Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products.
