Senior Software Engineer - Integrations 3P - Platform (AI)

Location: Remote role based in Portugal

Salary: €55,800–€88,300 EUR base salary per year; no variable compensation component.

hirify.global develops the hirify.global Search AI Platform for search, security, observability, and real-time data access.

What you will do

• Build and evolve the hirify.global MCP server and its supporting infrastructure, primarily in Go.
• Develop the platform for universal agent skills, including portable formats, authoring and publishing tools, and linting.
• Design and deliver integrations that connect hirify.global to third-party AI ecosystems in collaboration with product teams and external partners.
• Contribute to the hirify.global CLI and improve the efficiency of developers and their agents.
• Develop, maintain, and support hirify.global Stack libraries, tools, and integrations using Go, Rust, and other languages.
• Define quality standards for skills and tools through evaluations and bring product thinking to integration decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems, services, or libraries.
• Significant recent experience with Go and the ability to contribute to unfamiliar codebases and languages.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, agents, agent skills, and protocols such as MCP.
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong software engineering, communication, collaboration, usability, and developer experience skills.
• Willingness to work remotely from Portugal as part of a globally distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience building or operating infrastructure and interest in telemetry and observability.
• Open source, technical writing, blogging, or speaking experience.
• Experience working with third-party or partner engineering teams.
• Prior experience with hirify.global products.
