What you will do
- Own Japan’s content priorities and editorial calendar based on local buyer needs and business goals.
- Improve Japanese website pages and lead localization and editorial quality for global content.
- Create Japan-native customer stories, blog articles, solution guides, white papers, e-books, and video scripts.
- Build SEO and AIO/GEO programs and distribute content through digital, events, partners, nurture, and Sales channels.
- Develop customer references and sales-ready assets with Sales, Customer Success, Communications, Legal, partners, and marketing teams.
- Manage agencies and freelancers, measure content performance, and improve engagement, lead generation, Sales usage, and pipeline influence.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese writing and editing skills with professional English communication skills.
- 7+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally in enterprise technology, SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or AI.
- Experience owning content distribution, activation, and performance measurement in addition to production.
- Experience with website content, SEO, analytics, customer stories, and demand-generation assets.
- Ability to explain complex technology clearly to Japanese enterprise buyers and manage multiple projects, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with local, regional, global, and external partner teams and use AI tools while maintaining editorial standards.
