Fullstack Engineer (Django/NextJS)

Location: Remote, permanently based in Serbia; in-office access at the Belgrade office is encouraged but optional.

Salary: $145,000–$195,000 annually for Tier 3 locations; offers equity. Final compensation depends on experience and scope.

What you will do

• Own the stability and reliability of core platform functionality.
• Build and ship full-stack features across the Django backend and NextJS frontend.
• Work across PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery-based background processing.
• Collaborate with engineers and user advocates to improve the platform experience.
• Write automated tests and promote testing practices across the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with Django and relational databases.
• Experience with React, NextJS, and TypeScript.
• Strong advocacy for automated testing.
• Ability to implement engineering best practices.
• Permanent residence in Serbia is required for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise features such as SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, RBAC, or audit logs.
• Experience with Celery for executing and scheduling background tasks.
• Experience with high-load systems.
• Startup experience.
