Game Designer (Playable Ads)

Location: Remote or onsite at company offices in Armenia, Cyprus, or Kazakhstan; relocation support is available for these official locations.

What you will do

• Create Playables end-to-end, from initial concepts to working and tested prototypes.
• Study competitor creatives to identify effective mechanics, visual patterns, and gameplay hooks.
• Transform gameplay motivations from video creatives into engaging mini-games with satisfying visual progression.
• Rapidly test, iterate, and evaluate gameplay hypotheses based on results.
• Build and maintain a structured cookbook of successful creative and playable combinations.
• Configure and develop Playables using tools such as Cocos and Lua while working closely with the Playables Developer.

Requirements

• Experience creating core game prototypes or working with core gameplay.
• Experience in R&D or another environment focused on rapid experimentation and iteration.
• Strong interest in understanding why gameplay mechanics and creatives perform effectively.
• Hands-on approach to building and testing concepts independently.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar tools, technologies, and problem domains.
• Ability to take ownership of hypotheses, testing, and decisions based on results.
