Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and execute the global information security roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Build and optimise security processes, frameworks, policies, and training across the organisation.
• Lead SOC 2, PCI-DSS, DORA, MiCA, licensing, certification, audit, and regulatory review activities.
• Partner with auditors, regulators, legal, data protection, engineering, and product teams on compliance and secure software delivery.
• Lead and scale a fully remote security team, including hiring, development, performance management, and budgeting.
• Oversee threat hunting, incident escalation, vulnerability management, penetration testing, application risk reviews, and third-party risk assessments.

Requirements

• Senior security leadership experience as a CISO, Director of Security, or Head of Information Security in Financial Services or FinTech.
• Direct experience managing complex information security audits, certifications, licensing, and international regulatory compliance.
• Experience creating and managing organisation-wide security processes and frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead remote, distributed teams with strong ownership and accountability.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Must be physically located and legally authorised to work remotely within Europe.

Nice to have

• Ukrainian or Russian language skills.
• Cryptocurrency, Web3, or blockchain security experience, including custody and cold/hot wallet security.
