Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: Manchester, UK; hybrid working with up to 4 days per week from home. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 gross annual compensation.

What you will do

• Shape the UX of agentic AI across Street and Spectre, deciding which agency workflows AI agents should own.
• Design trustworthy experiences with appropriate transparency, user control, and human involvement.
• Work across valuation, prospecting, marketing, enquiry handling, sales progression, and property management.
• Define interaction patterns for a new category of agentic UX in property technology.
• Prototype, test, and ship rapidly with real estate agents, iterating based on user feedback.
• Set the product design craft standard through hands-on design output and strategic collaboration.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building or shaping agentic AI, including multi-step, tool-using agents.
• Strong point of view on agentic UX, including trust, transparency, control, system variability, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Lead-level product and UX design craft with the ability to explain and teach design decisions.
• Experience working across complex products and managing broad product context.
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering, with commercial awareness of product performance.
• Typically around 8+ years of senior individual-contributor experience in product or UX design, although demonstrated Lead-level scope is more important than the exact number.

Nice to have

• Hands-on technical fluency and the ability to prototype with code.
• SaaS or complex product experience.
• Property industry experience is helpful but not required.
