Foundation Engineering, AI Platform Engineer, Associate, Shanghai (AI)

What you will do

• Lead vendor engagement to establish the foundational AI platform for China business units.
• Develop AI/ML models and applications end to end, from ideation and data exploration through prototyping and initial deployment.
• Partner with business and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures.
• Architect, implement, and deliver scalable, maintainable AI solutions integrated with existing systems and workflows.
• Enable knowledge transfer through documentation, training, mentorship, and pair programming.
• Evaluate advances in AI, machine learning, and related technologies and recommend tools and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional hands-on experience delivering AI/ML solutions.
• Experience across the GenAI application stack, including LangChain, AgentScope, Dify, Amazon Bedrock, and Alibaba Model Studio.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Alibaba cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating data platforms with AI platforms.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and developer-efficiency solutions.
