Agent Experience Designer (Conversational AI)

Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 per year + Equity

What you will do

• Design and optimize AI conversation experiences across chat, voice, SMS, and email channels
• Advise customers and internal teams on conversation design and voice selection
• Evaluate voice quality and interaction patterns to maintain high naturalness and appropriateness
• Build repeatable frameworks for assessing conversation and voice performance
• Enable Customer team to apply strong design judgment independently
• Partner with Engineering and Product to investigate quality gaps and recommend improvements
• Create documentation and share best practices to improve consistency and quality

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in voice experience design, conversation design, product management, or applied linguistics
• Hands-on experience with voice technologies such as conversational AI, speech synthesis, or audio production
• Experience migrating NLU systems to LLM and knowledge of RAG functionality
• Experience building evaluation frameworks, rubrics, or QA processes
• Strong communication skills across technical and business contexts
• Comfortable working closely with product teams in a fast-paced environment
• Native or professional fluency in Spanish and/or familiarity with other languages is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience with TTS providers or speech synthesis tools
• Hands-on experience with frontier AI tools and enterprise deployment
