FCC Analyst (AML/KYC)

Location: San Antonio, TX, United States

Salary: $45,000–$60,000 per annum

What you will do

• Review alerted and ad hoc transactional activity for potential money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Analyze KYC documentation and customer records to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
• Conduct investigative research to enhance customer profiles and support KYC processes.
• Review sanctions screening alerts involving sanctioned individuals, entities, or countries.
• Research industries, companies, and technical topics using public sources.
• Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, summaries, and quantitative analyses while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML investigations, and suspicious activity report drafting.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience supporting compliance consulting engagements and preparing client deliverables.

Nice to have

• CAMS certification.
• CFE certification.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or regulatory compliance.
