Bluetooth Software/Senior Software/Principal Software Engineer (IoT)

Location: Hsinchu / Taipei, Taiwan; customer on-site support may be required.

What you will do

• Design, implement, integrate, validate, and maintain standards-based and non-standards-based Bluetooth, BLE, and 802.15.4 products.
• Lead or participate in complex feature integrations and enhancements.
• Bring up Bluetooth/BLE/802.15.4 SoCs and support silicon validation.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and maintenance phases.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and provide technical support to tier-1 customers on site when needed.

Requirements

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• For Senior and Principal levels: 4+ or 8+ years of related experience in Bluetooth, BLE, or 802.15.4, respectively.
• Proficiency in C and strong embedded software development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of at least one Bluetooth host stack or controller and strong debugging capabilities.
• Experience with HCI/BT sniffers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and communication interfaces such as UART, SDIO, USB, PCIe, I2C, PCM, or I2S.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work through technical issues with customers and offshore teams.

Nice to have

• Linux, Android, or Windows Wi-Fi driver programming experience.
• Real-time operating system experience, including FreeRTOS or ThreadX.
• ARM assembly knowledge and low-level silicon bring-up or validation experience.
• Experience with 802.15.4-based products.
