Bluetooth Software/Senior Software/Principal Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, integrate, validate, and maintain standard-based and non-standard-based Bluetooth, BLE, and 802.15.4 products.
• Lead or participate in complex feature integrations and enhancements.
• Bring up Bluetooth/BLE/802.15.4 SoCs and support silicon validation.
• Investigate and solve technical issues across development, testing, and maintenance phases.
• Collaborate with offshore teams across multiple project areas.
• Support tier-1 customers onsite when needed.

Requirements

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Software development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging experience.
• Senior and Principal levels require 4+ and 8+ years of related Bluetooth/BLE/802.15.4 experience, respectively.
• Senior and Principal levels require proficiency in C and strong embedded software development skills.
• Knowledge of a Bluetooth host stack or controller and experience with HCI/BT sniffers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers are desired for senior and principal levels.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work through technical issues with customers and offshore teams.

Nice to have

• Linux, Android, or Windows Wi-Fi driver programming.
• Real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS or ThreadX.
• ARM assembly and low-level silicon bring-up or validation.
• UART, PCIe, USB, SDIO, I2C, PCM, or I2S communication interfaces.
• Experience with 802.15.4-based products.
