Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; fully distributed and remote

What you will do
- Design, maintain, and improve test cases and scenarios across projects and product areas.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and non-functional black-box testing.
- Test and automate APIs across internal and external services.
- Monitor, analyze, document, and report defects, coordinating with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to QA strategy and testing for cloud-native systems, microservices, integrations, and distributed architectures.
- Use AI tools, coding agents, and MCP-enabled workflows for test generation, automation, defect analysis, documentation, and integrations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software quality assurance experience and 3+ years of automated testing experience.
- Programming or scripting experience with Ruby, Rails, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery, CI/CD, web technologies, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, AWS, and complex microservices testing.
- Highly proficient spoken and written English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Linux, mobile testing, or payment and fintech systems.
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience contributing to QA strategy, automation frameworks, or test infrastructure design.
