Senior/Lead Backend Software Engineer (Sportsbook)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for a new Sportsbook platform.
• Build the Sportsbook application from scratch across the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead architectural discussions and make technology decisions that improve performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, review code, and maintain engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience building a sports betting application from scratch.
• Strong Java or Kotlin and Spring experience.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good command of English at least at B2 level; the role is remote in EMEA.
