What you will do
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain complex Jasper Reports for enterprise-scale reporting.
- Write, optimize, and support Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, scripts, functions, and stored procedures.
- Perform data aggregation, extraction, and database analysis to ensure accurate report output.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and execute code changes within scheduled release cycles.
- Develop and run unit tests to validate code quality, data accuracy, and report formatting.
- Create technical documentation and collaborate with technical teams, business analysts, and agency stakeholders.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with 8 or more years developing and maintaining custom Jasper Reports.
- 8 or more years of developer unit testing and code validation.
- 8 or more years working with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- 5 or more years designing, coding, and supporting Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database solutions.
- Strong analytical, data aggregation, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Five or more years using Jira and Bitbucket for issue tracking, code repositories, and version control.
- Experience with statewide education data systems or public-sector reporting platforms.
