TL;DR
Business Controller (Gaming): Providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability insights for game development projects, business units, and live services with an accent on KPI monitoring, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. Focus on building dashboards, improving controlling processes, analyzing business opportunities, and collaborating with Data Insights and Product teams.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden; Workplace: Hybrid

What you will do
- Perform profitability analysis for business units, development projects, and live services.
- Own financial planning, monthly follow-up, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for assigned projects and cost centers.
- Monitor KPIs and provide insights to improve profitability and productivity.
- Collaborate with Data Insights and Product teams to produce reports from daily sales data.
- Develop dashboards and support management with relevant financial data.
- Support closing, group reporting, audits, business cases, and process automation improvements.
Requirements
- Academic degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business controlling, preferably in game development.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and summarize findings clearly and concisely.
- Presentation and communication skills for financial reviews, forecasts, and budget processes.
- Ability to manage short periods of increased workload during monthly closing, forecast, and budget cycles.
- Fluent English is required; Swedish is preferred. Relocation assistance is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience in the game development industry.
- Interest in using AI tools to improve company and individual workflows.
