Senior Accountant (Blockchain)

hirify.global is a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, focused on the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana blockchain network.

What you will do

• Own procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes across the Foundation and its wholly owned US subsidiary.
• Implement a new expense management and bill pay platform, integrate agentic procurement, and automate accounts receivable.
• Manage corporate cards and expense controls, ensuring accurate and policy-compliant spending.
• Maintain clean general ledgers across two entities under the appropriate Swiss and US GAAP standards.
• Prepare balance sheet and asset reconciliations, including bank transactions and onchain wallet activity.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, budget-versus-actual analysis, and control improvements.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with 3–5 years of experience across public accounting and industry.
• Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• Hands-on experience with Xero or a comparable accounting platform such as QuickBooks.
• Experience with Airtable and automation-friendly databases, including building system integrations.
• Ability to work with AI and agentic systems and lead accounting technology implementations.
• Familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, and reconciling onchain wallet activity alongside bank statements.

Nice to have

• FinTech experience, especially blockchain experience.
• Experience in a fast-moving startup or rapidly scaling company.
