Middle Backend Developer (Node.js)

Location: Fully remote, global

Overview

Join a creative digital agency with international recognition, working remotely on backend services for cutting-edge digital products across multiple continents.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using MongoDB and Supabase
• Develop and maintain Edge functions APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize database performance and ensure application security and data integrity
• Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development processes
• Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS
• Proven backend development experience with MongoDB, Supabase, PostgreSQL
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with SQL, database schema design, and RESTful API principles
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and server-side security measures
• Experience with cloud services and deployment strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work effectively under schedule pressure

• Experience with React and React Native
