QA/QC Engineer (Construction Quality Control)

Location: Onsite at Almaty International Airport, Almaty, Kazakhstan

Almaty International Airport is Kazakhstan’s largest air gateway and part of TAV Airports and Groupe ADP, an international airport management platform.

What you will do

• Ensure quality assurance and quality control across CAPEX and OPEX airport projects.
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements.
• Review quality documents, material approvals, inspection requests, and test procedures.
• Manage NCRs, defects, corrective actions, punch lists, and quality risks.
• Witness testing, commissioning, and functional checks.
• Prepare QA/QC reports, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and support project handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in QA/QC, site inspection, construction supervision, or engineering quality control.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, NCR/CAR management, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documentation; knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant construction standards.
• Russian, Kazakh, and English languages required.
• Strong communication, reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills; MS Office proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure, airport, civil, MEP, or large-facility projects.
• Experience with EDMS, SharePoint, Aconex, or similar systems.
• QA/QC or ISO 9001 certification.
