Machinery Engineering Lead

What you will do

• Lead machinery engineering activities supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
• Act as the technical authority for compressors, turbines, pumps, turbo-expanders, and related rotating equipment.
• Develop reliability and mechanical integrity programs, analyze equipment performance, and lead failure investigations and root cause analyses.
• Support shutdowns, troubleshooting, maintenance strategy development, plant modifications, capital projects, and Management of Change processes.
• Review technical specifications, vendor proposals, engineering documentation, and contractor work.
• Mentor machinery engineering personnel and collaborate with maintenance teams, project teams, contractors, OEMs, global experts, and regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of rotating equipment experience in oil and gas, petrochemicals, chemical processing, industrial gases, power generation, or steel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability.
• Experience with mechanical integrity, predictive maintenance, inspection methodologies, failure investigations, Process Safety Management, and Management of Change.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Working proficiency in English, Russian, and Uzbek is required.
