Quantitative Developer (Python/Quantitative Trading): Developing Python tools and improving simulation and backtesting infrastructure for quantitative trading strategy research with an accent on statistical libraries, research workflows, and APAC collaboration. Focus on iterating with quantitative researchers, maintaining research jobs, and enhancing the performance of trading strategy development.
Location: Singapore; hybrid working opportunities are available

is a global quantitative trading firm developing electronic trading infrastructure, research platforms, and systematic trading strategies.
What you will do
- Iterate with quantitative researchers to improve quantitative trading strategies and P&L.
- Develop Python tools for trading strategy research.
- Improve the simulation and backtesting framework.
- Monitor and maintain quantitative research jobs.
- Support the global research team with APAC-related research through multiple communication channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Very good knowledge of Python and statistical libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and Polars.
- At least two years of Python development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, geographically distributed environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with C++ development or Bash scripting.
- Experience with workflow management and task scheduling.
- Knowledge of equities and equity derivatives trading.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
