What you will do
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to improve quantitative trading strategies and desk P&L.
- Develop Python tools for trading strategy research.
- Improve the existing simulation and backtesting framework.
- Monitor and maintain quantitative research jobs.
- Support the global research team with APAC-related research through cross-team communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Very good knowledge of Python and statistical libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and Polars.
- At least 2 years of Python development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative, geographically distributed environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to have
- C++ development experience.
- Bash or other scripting language experience.
- Experience with workflow management and task scheduling.
- Knowledge of equities and equity derivatives trading.
