Quality Assurance Specialist (Pharmaceuticals)

What you will do

• Develop, track, and report quality KPIs, including CAPA cycle time, audit findings, deviation trends, and complaint resolution rates.
• Aggregate and analyze quality data from multiple systems to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with QA leadership and Operations on corrective and preventive actions driven by metrics and root cause analysis.
• Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards for leadership reviews, internal audits, and inspection readiness.
• Standardize data collection, streamline reporting workflows, and automate metrics tracking where feasible.
• Support quality training and communicate KPI expectations and improvement targets across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, compounding, medical device, or regulated healthcare environments.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and cGMP compliance.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analysis and visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with USP <795>, <797>, <800>, 21 CFR Part 211, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Experience with ERP and QMS software such as NetSuite, MasterControl, TrackWise, or Veeva, plus strong analytical and communication skills.
