TL;DR
Software Engineer (Supercomputing Testing) (Python/Go/Bash): Designing and executing automated test suites for high-performance inference server hardware and software with an accent on system operation, reliability, and performance analysis. Focus on fault injection, debugging hardware and software failures, building scalable testing infrastructure, and monitoring hundreds of AI accelerators.
Location: On-site in Taipei

What you will do
- Design, develop, and execute automated supercomputing test suites using Python, Go, Bash, and testing frameworks.
- Test boot sequences, root of trust, system management, workload deployment, and performance across inference server hardware.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks.
- Investigate hardware and software failures, document findings, and propose mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with internal, external, hardware, and software engineering teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Build portable testing environments, automation tools, dashboards, and documentation for large-scale AI accelerator testing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and server hardware architectures.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience reading and interpreting hardware logs, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with hardware burn-in, reliability, performance, or benchmarking testing.
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostic tools and low-level communication protocols such as I2C.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data analysis tools.
