Infrastructure Intern (AI)

Location: On-site at the office in San Jose, CA

What you will do

• Develop and support infrastructure tooling for ASIC, software, and platform engineers.
• Work with hybrid-cloud high-performance computing clusters.
• Build and maintain massively parallel CI execution systems and infrastructure-as-code.
• Develop a scalable observability platform with LLM integration.
• Create reliable, high-quality tools that improve engineering iteration speed and productivity.

Requirements

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust.
• Proficiency in Python for systems software work.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of low-level software engineering and hardware/software co-design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, or driver debugging.
• Experience with hardware diagnostics or interpreting hardware logs.
• Exposure to server virtualization or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Rust or embedded development.
