Director of Data Analytics

What you will do

• Lead, hire, and develop embedded analysts and data scientists supporting growth, product, markets, finance, risk, and institutional functions.
• Define the analytical standard for rigorous, decision-ready work and ensure assumptions are clearly evaluated.
• Set analytical agendas with business leaders and prioritize high-impact work across competing functions.
• Build shared review practices, experimentation standards, and best practices across the distributed analytics organization.
• Partner with data platform leadership on consistent metric definitions and modeled datasets.
• Own company-level reporting and analytics presented to the board and investors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in analytics or data science, including 4+ years managing analysts or data scientists.
• Expert SQL skills and strong statistical grounding for reviewing experiment designs and causal claims.
• Experience leading an embedded or matrixed analytics team.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and the ability to challenge executive decisions with evidence.
• Demonstrated success developing analysts, building teams, and making difficult performance decisions.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with frequently changing business logic.

Nice to have

• Depth in experimentation design, causal inference, or predictive modeling.
• Experience in a marketplace, exchange, or trading business.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, prediction markets, or other data-intensive financial products.
