New Graduate Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, Toronto office, Canada

hirify.global builds AI computing hardware and software infrastructure centered on the Wafer Scale Engine, supporting high-speed model training and inference.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain infrastructure for building, testing, operating, simulating, and evaluating the hirify.global software stack.
• Design efficient and scalable workflows for automation in cloud environments and datacenters.
• Work across advanced hardware interfaces, low-level infrastructure, distributed systems, compilers, and ML frameworks.
• Monitor software quality and performance on the Wafer Scale Engine.
• Collaborate with software development and product management teams to solve infrastructure and reliability challenges.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in software development environments.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and Makefiles.
• Strong end-to-end triage, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
• Experience building services at scale on AWS or other cloud platforms.

• UI development experience.
