Senior Clinical AI Data Lead (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands, with around half of the time in the office

hirify.global is a European clinical AI lab developing frontier models and a clinical AI workspace for hospital workflows, including preparation, decision support, diagnostics, and interpretation.

What you will do

• Build and manage a network of healthcare professionals across Dutch university medical centres, oncology centres, and other institutions.
• Match clinicians with suitable evaluation and annotation tasks based on expertise and task complexity.
• Turn Clinical AI, Research, and Product requests into structured programs with defined staffing, processes, scale, timelines, and costs.
• Design rubrics and guidelines, calibrate annotators, measure agreement, run adjudication, and identify bias in clinical datasets.
• Work with ML engineers to ensure evaluation data reflects real product use and evolves with changing usage.
• Manage staffing operations, access, contracts, budgets, and timelines with Recruiting, HR, and Legal.

Requirements

• Clinical fluency gained through healthcare, clinical research, medtech, CROs, trials, medical affairs, or a related environment.
• Fluent Dutch and working English, with knowledge of the Dutch healthcare system and the ability to build relationships across Europe.
• Experience leading complex, multi-contributor programs to deadlines, ideally involving clinical data, research, annotation, or evaluation.
• Experience with rubric design, calibration, sampling, inter-annotator agreement, and adjudication.
• Ability to recruit and engage clinical experts and determine the right expertise for each task.
• Strong communication across healthcare professionals, ML engineering, product, and operations teams.

Nice to have

• Experience commissioning or managing external annotation vendors.
• Experience building expert networks across European markets or beyond.
• Familiarity with LLM-as-judge, reward-model data, sycophancy, verbosity, and reward-hacking.
