Senior Backend Developer (Kubernetes)

Salary: $194,000–$233,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Build a system for orchestrating Zero Trust Segmentation at the application and pod level.
• Identify and block attack pathways in container ecosystems.
• Enhance container platforms and integrations including Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and GKE.
• Own the design and implementation of critical features and scalable subsystems.
• Deliver secure, stable, supportable software for enterprise critical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with field teams and customers, and mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
• Proficiency in at least one higher-level language, such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, debugging, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with Unix/Linux programming environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with networking and security controls.
