Clinical Writer, German and English (Freelance) (Healthcare AI)

Location: Remote from the German-speaking region or the Netherlands, with occasional days in Zurich and Amsterdam

What you will do

• Interview clinicians who use the product, write customer stories, and take them through hospital communications approval.
• Write original German-language content for the website, campaigns, events, conferences, and partner communications.
• Produce English original content, which will represent around half of the output.
• Turn roundtables, panels, and webinars with hospital leaders into published articles.
• Create a German terminology and tone standard covering Swiss and German clinical vocabulary and editorial usage.
• Work directly with the Head of Marketing and manage briefs, approvals, and delivery independently.

Requirements

• Publication-quality German writing for a clinical audience.
• Professional English writing skills.
• Five to ten years of professional writing experience, including at least two years in health, medtech, pharma, or hospital communications.
• Interview-based published work and the ability to conduct focused interviews with clinicians.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction, set briefs, manage approvals, and deliver finished content.

Nice to have

• Clinical, hospital, or diagnostics background.
• Experience working with hospital communications departments and planning around approval timelines.
• Experience supporting executive thought leadership or founder content.
