What you will do

• Drive new research directions in AI and frontier biology.
• Pre-train large diffusion models and contribute to model architecture design.
• Develop post-training methods and inference-time scaling approaches.
• Advance models from protein structure prediction toward therapeutic engineering.
• Collaborate on long-term research programs across physics, mathematics, theoretical computer science, and computational biology.

Requirements

• Strong academic training and a research track record.
• Proven industry accomplishments or demonstrated potential as rising research talent.
• Engineering capability and fluency with scientific literature.
• sustained focus, rigor, curiosity, and persistence when solving difficult problems.
• Ability to work on-site from the San Francisco office.
