Senior Software Engineer, Understanding (AI Search)

Salary: €67,500–€94,000 EUR annual base salary

What you will do

• Design and develop ranking and search-understanding features.
• Build and operate production pipelines for core search capabilities.
• Develop and maintain API services handling high search traffic.
• Work with engineers across frontend development and machine learning.
• Ensure pipeline quality, soundness, and reliable production operation.

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating production pipelines.
• Experience working with large datasets and high-traffic systems.
• Interest in solving search-ranking challenges.
• Experience building and maintaining API services.
• Strong engineering practices, including high code quality and automated testing.
• Experience with a major cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience operating AI models in production.
• Experience with Go or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience exploring datasets with SQL and using data-driven decision-making.
• Sensitivity to end-user experience.
