Head of DMPK (TechBio)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from our London, England office (hybrid, 50% in-office)

Salary: £155,300–£194,600 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute the overarching DMPK strategy for a diverse therapeutic portfolio.
• Ensure scientific excellence in human dose projections, DDI assessments, and translational PK/PD strategies.
• Partner with Data Science and ML teams to refine predictive ADME models and prioritize compounds.
• Act as a strategic subject matter expert for high-stakes external partnerships.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering an environment of rapid adaptation.
• Integrate DMPK insights into multidisciplinary project teams from target validation through lead optimization.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry moving programs from Discovery into Development.
• Deep expertise in small molecule DMPK and familiarity with modalities like ADCs or peptides.
• Proven history of navigating regulatory interactions and IND submission requirements.
• Strong collaborative leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing CROs to ensure high-quality data delivery.
