What you will do
- Analyze and profile data sources, including structure, quality, completeness, and refresh frequency.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design the logical structure of data marts, including attributes, data granularity, and metric calculation rules.
- Create source-to-data-mart mappings and document transformation logic.
- Prepare Greenplum SQL queries and data mart prototypes for Data Engineers.
- Validate development results and reconcile data with source systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, window functions, and large datasets.
- Experience with Greenplum, including distributed architecture, distribution keys, and partitioning.
- Experience with Data Warehouses and data modeling principles, including Data Vault, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.
- Ability to read source-system documentation, communicate with data owners, and write clear technical specifications.
- English at Intermediate level or above.
