TL;DR
Intermediate Back-End Developer (PHP) (Microservices/PHP): Developing and maintaining PHP microservices integrated into an existing infrastructure with an accent on reliable feature implementation, configuration, and SQL-based backend development. Focus on integrating services into established patterns, participating in architecture discussions, and solving complex integration challenges with guidance from senior engineers.

Location: Ukraine, working from home

Salary: $3,057–$3,881 gross per month

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain microservices using PHP within existing architectural patterns.
  • Implement defined backend features and functionalities.
  • Configure and integrate microservices into the existing infrastructure.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute ideas within an international team.

Requirements

  • Experience maintaining and working with microservices.
  • Working knowledge of PHP 8+, Docker, and SQL.
  • Ability to work independently, remain reliable, and ask for guidance when needed.
  • Comfortable communicating in English and working in an international team.
  • Must be living in Ukraine due to legal restrictions.
  • Must be registered as a sole proprietor (FOP).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes.
