Embedded Linux Engineer (Robotics & Autonomous Machines)

Location: Hybrid in Tlaquepaque/Guadalajara, Mexico, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Salary: MXN 41,041.67–77,000 per month

What you will do

• Perform board bring-up and board support package development for NVIDIA Jetson modules, including kernel, device tree, drivers, and boot flow.
• Build and tune embedded Linux images using Yocto, JetPack, and L4T for customer platforms.
• Integrate robotics and perception stacks, including ROS 2, MIPI CSI and GMSL camera and sensor pipelines, CAN, and real-time control.
• Deploy and optimize edge AI inference with model deployment and TensorRT tuning.
• Manage thermal and power budgets on constrained embedded platforms.
• Prototype reference designs and support customer engineering teams in taking them from prototype to volume production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded Linux experience with C/C++, Python, and kernel- or driver-level debugging.
• Hands-on experience with ARM SoCs and single-board computers.
• Experience with Yocto or Buildroot.
• Exposure to ROS or ROS 2, computer vision, CUDA, TensorRT, real-time control, or motor drives.
• Comfort using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to troubleshoot hardware and systems that do not boot.
