R&D Engineer - Prototyping (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end prototypes for customer validation and new sensing solutions.
• Combine sensors, electronics, mechanics, embedded software, and connectivity in functional prototypes.
• Translate product hypotheses into systems for realistic customer testing.
• Iterate with internal and external customers to refine requirements and reduce technical risks.

Requirements

• FH or ETH degree in mechatronics, systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with electronics, mechanics, embedded systems, CAD, and additive manufacturing.
• Hands-on maker mentality and the ability to independently build, test, and improve prototypes.
• Strong skills in some of the listed areas and motivation to deepen expertise in the others.
