Senior Manual QA Analyst (Web and Mobile Applications)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 3 remote days per week. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing for web and mobile applications.
• Validate French-language user interfaces through linguistic proofing and functional quality assurance.
• Identify, analyze, document, and track defects in Jira while collaborating with developers on reproduction and resolution.
• Support quality and compliance within the feature team and improve QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote consistent quality practices.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in manual QA for complex web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies; ISTQB certification is an asset.
• Experience with Jira and test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for database querying.
• Native or bilingual French at C2 level and professional English; legal right to work in the European Union required.

• Certifications in related testing methodologies or tools.
• Experience in financial services or lease application development.
