Staff Software Engineer (Frontend)

What you will do

• Define and evolve frontend architecture, technical strategy, standards, coding guidelines, and engineering practices.
• Lead complex technical initiatives from design through production, translating business goals into technical strategies, metrics, and execution plans.
• Build and maintain Vue-based applications using component-driven development, reusable UI patterns, design systems, and Storybook.
• Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, responsive design, developer experience, build tooling, CI/CD, and development workflows.
• Define testing strategies covering unit, component, integration, visual regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps, lead architecture reviews, document technical decisions, and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience building large-scale enterprise applications.
• Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, browser rendering, browser APIs, and the DOM.
• Expert experience with Vue 3, Composition API, component architecture, performance optimization, Vue Router, Pinia, and Vite.
• Strong understanding of component-driven architecture, API integration patterns, performance-first architecture, clean architecture, SOLID, and DRY.
• Expert understanding of WCAG 2.2, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, screen readers, ARIA, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.

Nice to have

• Angular experience.
• Micro Frontends, Module Federation, and monorepo experience with Nx, Turborepo, or similar tools.
• Experience with Storybook, Chromatic, Playwright, Vitest, or Jest.
• Docker fundamentals and experience with npm or pnpm.
