What you will do
- Architect and implement scalable storage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Monitor storage performance, reliability, and capacity utilization.
- Design and execute data protection, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale environments.
- Integrate storage systems with infrastructure teams and mission-critical applications.
- Participate in storage incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes storage solutions such as Ceph, Longhorn, or Linstor, including CSI drivers, persistent volumes, and storage classes.
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Dell PowerScale (Isilon) or equivalent, including configuration, tuning, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
- Experience designing and maintaining large-scale NFS and SMB environments, high-performance storage architectures, iSCSI, storage networking, and multipathing.
- Experience deploying and managing S3-compatible object storage, including MinIO or Ceph Object Gateway, lifecycle policies, and tiering strategies.
- Knowledge of RBAC, encryption at rest and in transit, access control, audit compliance, server-based RAID, and disk failure handling.
- Experience designing large-scale backup solutions and disaster recovery plans for petabyte-scale environments.
Nice to have
- Storage vendor certifications from Dell, NetApp, HPE, or similar providers.
- Experience with software-defined storage platforms.
- Familiarity with storage performance benchmarking and analysis tools.
