DWDM Engineer / Datacom Engineer Manpower

Location: Onsite in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

What you will do

• Commission, integrate, test, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain DWDM and Datacom equipment, including switches and routers.
• Provide post-deployment support, preventive maintenance, and network optimization.
• Analyze complex technical issues and maintain high network availability and performance.
• Support project implementation, service activation, network acceptance, and operations and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and develop implementation and maintenance plans.
• Deliver customer training, participate in technical workshops, gather feedback, and coordinate with internal teams on project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or technical support.
• Experience with DWDM or Datacom switching and routing technologies.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VPN, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
• Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and network optimization, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical English is required for communication; Russian and/or Uzbek is advantageous. Willingness to travel for project support is required.
