Manual QA Engineer (iGaming)

TL;DR

Manual QA Engineer (iGaming/Fintech): Ensuring the quality and stability of core platform components and backend integrations with an accent on API testing and complex architectural features. Focus on performing end-to-end manual testing, analyzing network traffic, and mentoring junior/middle QA engineers.

Location: On-site in Lisbon, Portugal. Full relocation support and visa sponsorship are provided.

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of core platform features, APIs, and integrations.
• Investigate and localize issues using devtools, logs, and databases.
• Manage the full lifecycle of defects in the bug-tracking system and support the release process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, Product) to identify risks and improve quality.
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform test strategy and implement process improvements.
• Mentor junior and middle QA engineers within the platform team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Lisbon Metropolitan area (On-site).
• Mandatory experience in backend testing and a deep understanding of client-server architecture.
• Strong proficiency in API testing (REST, JSON) using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Solid SQL knowledge, including the ability to write complex queries and joins.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level required.

Nice to have

• Experience in test automation using TypeScript.
• Experience in Mobile testing (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with Allure TestOps as a TMS.
