Location: Onsite five days a week in East Peoria, Illinois; Irving, Texas; or Nashville, Tennessee, United States.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Administer and govern the enterprise Qualys platform, including configurations, scan profiles, scanner appliances, Cloud Agents, asset tags, access controls, and operational health.
• Manage vulnerability scanning, host discovery, authenticated scans, asset coverage, rescanning, and validation across a large-scale environment.
• Maintain integrations with ServiceNow, CMDB, cloud platforms, reporting systems, and security technologies.
• Analyze vulnerability data, threat intelligence, exploitability, CVSS scores, TruRisk, and Detection Scores to prioritize remediation.
• Evaluate AI-assisted analytics, predictive risk modeling, and emerging technologies while assessing risks from automated recommendations.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, application, DevOps, governance, and compliance teams on remediation, audits, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in vulnerability management and security operations, including hands-on experience with Qualys or a similar platform.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, authenticated scans, Cloud Agents, asset management, and vulnerability data analysis.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP networking, AWS, and Azure.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, predictive risk modeling, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Security Copilot.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across security, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in one of the listed United States locations; relocation is available.

Nice to have

• Qualys certifications in Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, Web Application Scanning, VMDR, CSAM, ETM, Cloud Agent, or EASM.
• Experience with ITIL, ServiceNow or Remedy, CI/CD pipelines, CMDB, ticketing, cloud, and security platform integrations.
• Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments and translating technical findings into actionable guidance for non-technical teams.
