Data Protection Officer

What you will do

• Act as Data Protection Officer, liaising with authorities, third parties, and customers on compliance and data protection matters.
• Manage policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other codes of practice.
• Assess and rectify non-compliance areas in the data protection framework, including risk assessment of new projects, performing DPIAs, and drafting/reviewing DPAs.
• Collaborate with IT for data retention and handling of potential data breaches and reporting.
• Conduct periodic audits and manage Data Processing Inventory.
• Deliver training across all business units to staff members on compliance and data protection.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Data Protection Officer, with an advantage in iGaming.
• Fluency in written and oral English.
• Self-driven, efficient, and organised, with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
• Great interpersonal skills, with an ability to quickly build positive rapport with other teams and third parties.
• Experience working with Maltese, Swedish, Danish, Italian, Romanian, Greek, Portuguese or Spanish regulatory frameworks is considered an asset.

• Understanding of Jira/Confluence.
• Additional language skills, particularly Swedish, Danish, Spanish or Portuguese.
