CNC Machinist

What you will do

• Interpret complex mechanical drawings, CAD/CAM models, and technical documentation to define machining strategies.
• Program, set up, calibrate, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, EDM, and specialized machining equipment.
• Plan machining projects, coordinate resources, and oversee the production of complex components to required quality and tolerance standards.
• Conduct test cycles, precision inspections, and measurements using metrology equipment including CMM systems.
• Manage tooling, maintenance programs, process improvements, automation integration, and production KPIs.
• Supervise and mentor machinists and operators while acting as the technical authority for production and quality issues.

Requirements

• ITI certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification; engineering education is an advantage.
• At least 8 years of experience as a CNC operator.
• Experience operating CNC machinery and tooling, using precision measurement tools and CMM equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Computer literacy, knowledge of programming and CAD/CAM, mechanical aptitude, and strong mathematical skills.
• Fluent English, Russian, and Kazakh are required.
